Hey friends! Welcome to the Back Porch! This space, usually only for paid subscribers or the occasional freebie, is where we dive a little deeper, linger a little longer, into life, ministry, and faith.
Now I know most of you reading this aren’t pastors by title. But if you’re a follower of Jesus, you have a ministry. Ministry simply means service. God has a calling on each of us — to follow Him, serve Him, and make disciples.
So even if some of my pastoral reflections don’t directly apply to you, I pray God will use them to shape your life, your relationships, and your own quiet service to our King.
A Long, Fast Summer
It’s been a long and yet incredibly fast summer. School will be here before we know it; some of my friends in various parts of the care already back in the swing of pickups, drop-offs, and filling out those pesky forms they send home every year.
